It’s been nearly a year now since we moved to North Wales. It’s been great, I’m loving it, Alison is and my daughter Katie is too. North Wales is a beautiful place, and I feel really privileged to live here. So Happy St. David’s Day to all my Welsh friends.
Moving from Oldham in Manchester, the most noticeable thing has been the change in the pace of life. Things move in a much gentler way here. People are friendly, things aren’t as stressful. Everything seems more colourful, in Manchester things seem very grey, even the rain seems grey. We were really lucky to have a hot summer for our first year in North Wales, it was a big change from the drizzly cold climate of Oldham.
I work from home now. Doing this has really helped me spend some quality time with my family. There are lots of things to see and do in North Wales. Days on the beach are always good, we like visiting the Welsh Mountain Zoo In Colwyn Bay. Katie loves the arcades in Llandudno, we usually have to drag her away from them kicking and screaming.
Business is going well and I’m getting busier and busier. Working as a freelance designer I enjoy working with and meeting small business owners. Being a small business owner myself I understand that value for money and quality of product are vitally important. I also pride myself on my aftersales service and make sure my clients are supported going forward. I understand that having a website and social media can be a daunting experience for most people. There are some people though who want to get involved and learn new things. Either way, I’m happy to help and offer advice. So if you’re wondering if you should make that leap and get your business on-line, just give me a call and we can have a chat.
